What is a MSP?
“MSP” is an acronym that stands for “Managed Services Provider“. It is an outsourced, third party IT firm that remotely manages your information technology. As opposed to traditional IT support, which usually follows the “break/fix” philosophy, a Managed Services Provider has two principal philosophies that guide their services:
- Management and monitoring tools that allow ongoing remote access to your work environment.
- Proactive way to deal with your work environment.
